About Us

Meet Our Synagogue Website Team

Small team. Personal approach. Deep synagogue experience.

We’re intentionally small, which means you’ll work directly with the people designing and building your website. We bring together decades of web experience, a deep understanding of synagogue life, and a genuine commitment to the communities we work with.

Hirsch Fishman – Owner & Web Designer

I’ve been designing and developing websites professionally since 2001, with my work focused exclusively on organizations in the Jewish community.

But my connection to synagogues goes back much further than my career. Synagogue life has always been an important part of my life, and that personal experience shapes the way I approach every website I create.

A synagogue website needs to be more than attractive. It needs to welcome someone who may be discovering your community for the first time, help longtime members quickly find what they need, communicate the personality of your congregation, and make life easier for the staff members responsible for keeping everything current.

Since 2007, I’ve specialized in bringing those needs together through thoughtful design and technology. I enjoy getting to know each congregation, understanding what makes it distinctive, and figuring out how to translate that into a website that genuinely feels like the community it represents.

Just as important to me are the relationships I build along the way. I want my clients to feel like they have a web partner they know, trust, and can call when they need help – not just someone who built their website and disappeared after launch.

Originally from Albany, New York, I attended Binghamton University and later lived in New York City and Chicago before moving to Raleigh, North Carolina, in 2012. My wife and I have two sons, and we’re members of Beth Meyer Synagogue, Raleigh’s Conservative congregation, where I regularly attend services and read Torah.

And when I’m not working on synagogue websites or at synagogue myself, there’s a pretty good chance I’m watching the 2026 Stanley Cup-winning Carolina Hurricanes.

Raven, Chief Morale Office

Raven - Chief Morale Officer

Raven joined the Addicott Web team in 2019 and quickly established herself as an indispensable member of the team. Her responsibilities include enthusiastically greeting visitors, reminding everyone when it’s time to take a break, maintaining office morale, and providing careful supervision of all snacks entering the premises.

She brings boundless energy to the job, asks very little in the way of compensation, and has never missed a deadline – mostly because we don’t give her any.

Raven lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, and remains firmly committed to maintaining Addicott Web’s reputation as a dog-friendly workplace.
